So good, we did it almost every night we stayed in Japan. Private room, English patrons and unlimited alcohol for an hour!!! You are asking for trouble. Figuring out how to navigate the giant Japanese remote was the only difficult thing bar asking for a round of drinks. When you receive 6 pints of beer and a jug (4 pint`s) of straight vodka, you know its going to be messy. We loved this place so much we went back with different hostel friends every time.

3. Slept under the stars
This photo does not even do it justice. The night sky from Uluru was incredible, I slept in a sleeping bag on the red sand and lined my body parallel to the Milky way. We were told of stories of large lizards and snakes crawling into the bags and of how someone once woke up with a camel licking his face. The lure of the stars however couldn't stop us. Besides waking up with a mouth full of what I hope was just crunchy sand and not the remains of a spider, it was a awesome nights sleep.

2. Snorkeled the great barrier reef
The original plan was to scuba but we really didn't need to. The extra expense and the training in kids pools for days put us off. Even though I still would like to do it someday, I`m glad we stuck to snorkeling. We saw everything turtles, sting rays, Nemos, huge fish, small fish, ugly fish, and even had a close encounter with a white tip shark. This was a major highlight of Australia and one of the first. We took the boat out from cairns via the silver swift.
1. Grown a big bushy beard
Thats me in the middle. This was a bushy as I could bear it. During the epic route 66 American tour i grew my beard. It was hard, some itchy times and a lot of mockery but by New York it had to be trimmed down. Theres only so many times you can be called a ``bum``

18. Watched the F1 at Melbourne and Silverstone
Amazing power! It took about 10 laps before getting a clear shot. This was the 2009 Melbourne opening race where the winner was, you could say ''on the Button''.
39. Walked up statue of liberty
Looking up her skirt phwooooar! Check out them gubbins. Fact of the day: The total weight of the statue is 204.1 metric tons, about the same as 51 elephants.
